Why We Serve

So what's with the name?

Seizing the High Ground has two meanings for us.

1. The High Ground provides the best chance of a successful mission. It’s where you have the most information to make the smartest decisions. You have to fight for and defend the High Ground. In the military, it’s what you’re always aiming for. In life, serving homeowners, it’s where we are today.

2. Seizing the High Ground means doing what’s right for our customers, even if it’s difficult, inconvenient, or costly to us. Our Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee is an example of that mindset. We believe in our team and our training to do things right the first time. But in the real world, mistakes happen. And it’s more important to make it right, than to hide behind the fine print.

Our Leadership

The buck stops with me, Rich Jordan.

But our leadership approach isn't held in one person's head. It's instilled in every leader across this organization - from crew leaders and team leaders to department heads and directors.

We believe the leader exists to support the team, not the other way around. That comes straight from the Marine Corps: mission accomplishment and troop welfare. Both matter. Always.

Every High Ground leader has been developed the High Ground way. They understand that their job is to give their people what they need to succeed - the right tools, the right training, the right support. Remove obstacles. Provide clarity. Create the conditions for great work.

Our mission is simple: Give the Trades a Good Home. That starts with how we lead.

When you call High Ground, you're not just getting skilled technicians. You're getting people who are supported, trained, and led by a team that believes leadership is about service - to the customer, to the mission, and most importantly, to each other.

That's how we operate. That's what makes us different.
