This Privacy Statement discloses the privacy practices for HighGround Enterprise Solutions, Inc. (“HighGround”). This Privacy Statement applies to information collected when you use or access our online website, products, services (collectively, the “HighGround Services”) or otherwise interact with us. It will notify you of the following:

  1. What personally identifiable information is collected from you through HighGround Services, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.
  2. What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.
  3. How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We only collect information that you voluntarily give us via HighGround Services or email. We may collect the following information: name, username, email address, password, employer’s name.

We may use the information collected through the HighGround Service for the limited purpose of providing the HighGround Service and related functionality and services for which HighGround has been engaged. We also use aggregated or anonymized data to help improve and personalize your experience on the HighGround Service. We also may use the data to communicate with you about your account, updates to our services, or changes to this Privacy Statement.

We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.  However, we may disclose this information as follows:

  • Services Providers.  We may disclose the information we collect from you to third party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform functions on our behalf.
  • Business Transfers.  If we are acquired by or merged with another company, if substantially all of our assets are transferred to another company, or as part of a bankruptcy proceeding, we may transfer the information we collected from you to the other company.

Cookies and Other Tracking Mechanisms

We use cookies and other tracking mechanisms to track information about your use of HighGround Services. Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your web browser for record-keeping purposes. Some cookies allow us to make it easier for you to navigate our websites, while others are used to enable a faster log-in process. There are two types of cookies: session and persistent cookies. Some HighGround Services, specifically HighGround’s Employee Engagement System, offer companies the ability to configure cookies based on privacy requirements.

Do Not Track Disclosures

We do not track our visitors over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising and therefore we do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. We are not aware of any third parties that track our visitors over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising.

Children Under 13

HighGround Services are not designed or intended for use by children under 13 and we do not collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our systems.

Data Processing

By accessing or using HighGround Services or otherwise providing information to us, you consent to the processing and transfer of information in and to the United States of America, which may have different data protection laws from your country of residence.

Data Protection Laws

HighGround complies with the European Union Data Protection Directive (also known as EU Directive 95/46/EC) as set forth by the EU regarding the collection, use and retention of personal data from EU member states. Additionally, HighGround adheres to data protection laws from a few other countries.

Security Statement

HighGround has achieved the Service Organization Control (SOC) Type 2 examination, governed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), which confirms HighGround’s compliance with SOC 2 standards and requirements for security. Service Organization Control reports are independent, third-party audits that measure how well service and solution providers control information. We take precautions to protect your personal information. When you submit information via HighGround Services, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect personal information that information is encrypted in transit and at the storage level.

Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted limited access to personal information. The infrastructure that HighGround provides to its customers is designed and managed in alignment with security best practices and a variety of security standards, including: ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and SOC 2. Additionally, HighGround management regularly obtains and reviews independent security audit reports from its critical service providers to determine if there are any issues that may have a significant impact on HighGround Services’ security and controls.

This Statement is current as of the Last Updated date set forth above. Its content may change from time to time and all updates will be shared with you.

If you disagree with any changes to this Statement and do not wish your information to be subject to the revised Privacy Statement, you will need to contact us and stop using the HighGround Services. Your use of any of the HighGround Services after the posting of such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.
