Lots of “best of” lists tend to come out around this time of year. Best movies, TV shows, books, albums, etc. And in that spirit, the Chicago Tribune recently announced a list of the best places to work for 2016. We’re happy to say that three HighGround customers — Horizon Pharma, Sonoma Partners and William Blair — were included on the list.
To be named to the list, companies were assessed on factors such as work-life balance and confidence in leadership. We think the most important factors in determining engagement are performance and ongoing development. Think of it this way:
- Employee A starts taking goal-setting seriously and renews her passion for her work.
- Manager B takes on a coaching mentality and it helps him see failures as learning opportunities.
- Employee C gets recognition that encourages her to go for that promotion.
- Executive D sees that employees are beginning to open up and share more feedback on surveys.
When things like this start to happen, your company gets better in every way.
Kudos to Horizon Pharma, Sonoma Partners and William Blair! Watch and read more about how HighGround customers are working toward being named one of the best places to work.
